Timing is everything when it comes to enjoying some favorite experiences at Disney California Adventure® Park. Thankfully, the theme park is open year-round so that you can try out Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! or explore the whimsical Pixar Pier in any season! Attractions at Disney California Adventure® Park are typically open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, but to get additional information and stay up-to-date on any changes that might occur, be sure to check the resort’s daily calendar. The official Disneyland® Resort mobile app will also help you plan your day and ensure you’re in-the-know about any time changes.

Entertainment Hours

At Disney California Adventure® Park, the entertainment isn’t just on stage: It’s in the streets, the skies and sometimes even right next to you! Little ones can groove to the music at Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! with Mickey Mouse and some of his best pals at daily shows. Seasonal schedules or availability may vary, so be sure to check showtimes in advance. Guests of all ages can bump to the beats of Peter Quill’s playlist at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! Over at Avengers Campus.

Stick around into the evening hours to catch World of Color Happiness! This dazzling nighttime spectacle is in honor of the Disneyland® Resort 70th Celebration, recognizing seven decades of happy. This show brings joy to life through beloved Disney and Pixar stories, stunning fountains and vibrant music. Don’t miss the chance to experience the park after dark, and enjoy other fun-filled performances happening throughout the parks all day long! Store Hours

If shopping is your superpower, you’re in luck: Nearly all stores in the Disneyland® Resort keep the same hours as the parks, meaning that you can shop till you drop from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on most days at Disney California Adventure® Park. Be sure to stop by Elias & Co., a stylish, art deco-inspired department store on Buena Vista Street, offering apparel, accessories, and Disney merchandise for the whole family. Make it your go-to spot for everything from trendy outfits to fun Character finds!

Plus, don’t forget to use your Disney Visa Card at select shopping locations to receive 10% off select purchases.23 You can snag some fun finds at locations like Knick’s Knacks for Pixar goodies or The Collector’s Warehouse for super hero gear. Shoppers, assemble!

After Hours Events

When the sun sets, Guests can get ready for a hauntingly good time. Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party brings spooky vibes, tasty treats and wicked fun to Disney California Adventure® Park! It’s an exciting chance to enjoy some special Character encounters, the Frightfully Fun Parade and more during the evening hours. Halloween is calling, so be sure to secure your spot at this seasonal, ticketed event!

Transportation

Getting around the Disneyland® Resort? Consider it mission accomplished. The parks are close to each other—and to nearby hotels and transportation areas—so many Guests find it possible to walk to get around. For added convenience, you can hop aboard one of three complimentary transportation options. Buses provide direct service between the Toy Story Parking Area and the shared entrance plaza for both Disney California Adventure® Park and Disneyland® Park. Trams run between the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the same entrance area. And if you have valid admission and a theme park reservation for Disneyland® Park, you can ride the Disneyland Monorail between Downtown Disney® District and Tomorrowland.

If you’ve traveled to the resort using your own vehicle, you can park in any of three locations: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure and the Toy Story Parking Area. The handy Car Locator feature on the Disneyland® Resort mobile app will even save your parking details, meaning you never have to worry about forgetting where you parked!

Park Perks for Guests of Disneyland® Resort Hotels

Ready to cruise through the theme parks with the speed of Lightning McQueen? Guests staying at a Disneyland® Resort hotel with valid theme park admission and a park reservation can currently enjoy 30-minute early entry to a designated park each day of their stay: Disney California Adventure® Park opens early on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while Disneyland® Park opens early on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This early entry benefit is available through January 4, 2026. Starting January 5, 2026, the offering shifts gears: eligible hotel guests will receive one Lightning Lane entry to a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction during their stay. Be sure to check the theme park calendar for the most up-to-date early entry schedule. Plus, there’s a way for some Guests to skip the crowds and start the fun even faster! Guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel® and at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa can enjoy a convenient entrance into Disney California Adventure® Park.

Lightning Lane Passes

Blast off with the Guardians, dash with the Incredibles and make every second count during your Disney California Adventure® Park visit. Guests can expedite entry through attraction queues by taking advantage of Lightning Lane passes, which will let you enter a shorter line at select attractions at the parks. Purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for use at WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and Incredicoaster, among some other favorite attractions across both parks. Or grab a Lightning Lane Single Pass to use at Radiator Springs Racers! To make sure you get the full experience, get Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This pass allows one-time entry to any Lightning Lane pass-eligible attraction in both of the Disneyland® Resort theme parks to enjoy at your leisure that day.

Dining, Mobile Order & Shopping Tips

Get meal time sorted faster than you can say “Ka-chow!” with mobile order. Use the Disneyland® app to easily view menus, make selections and plan your next snack time. You can even order food and schedule your pick-up time at select Disneyland® Resort restaurants. Once your order’s ready, you’ll get a notification that it’s time to fuel up. Cardmembers can even use their Disney Rewards Redemption Card in the app to redeem Disney Rewards Dollars toward snacks and meals.1

Planning ahead? Don’t forget to make dining reservations at popular spots like Lamplight Lounge, Carthay Circle, Wine Country Trattoria and more.

The convenience doesn’t end with mobile ordering food. If you want to visit both Disney California Adventure® Park and Disneyland® Park on the same day, it can be done in a flash by adding on the Park Hopper pass. Guests planning to visit the Disneyland® Resort several times per year should check out the Magic Key pass, which unlocks more magic like a special dining location, seasonal offerings and early access to a limited number of pre-sale tickets for select events.
