Mirabel, whose story is set in and inspired by the country of Colombia, marches to the beat of her own drum. Her quirkiness makes her endearing and the passion she has for her family is what makes her truly special. While she may feel like an outcast at times due to being the only Madrigal grandchild without a gift, she doesn’t let that limit her and will go to great lengths to protect the ones she loves.
