Questions about upgrading from the Disney® Visa® Card to the Disney® Premier Visa® Card

    • What happens to my Disney Rewards Dollars when I upgrade to a Disney® Premier Visa® Card?

      When you upgrade from a Disney® Visa® Card to a Disney Premier Visa Card, the Disney Rewards Dollars in your account will automatically move to your new Disney Premier Visa Card account. In addition, any valid Disney Rewards Redemption Cards you have will also move to the new account.0

    • Will my credit card account number change when upgrading to the Disney® Premier Visa® Card?

      When you upgrade from a Disney® Visa® Card account to a Disney Premier Visa Card account, your account number will remain the same. If your Disney Visa Card account was set up for automatic bill pay, you will want to note the new expiration date and security code of your Disney Premier Visa Card and make those revisions accordingly.

    • Will my credit card account expiration date change?

      Yes. The expiration date and security code will change when you upgrade to the Disney® Premier Visa® Card.

    • When will I begin earning 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and most Disney U.S. locations and earn 5% on card purchases made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or ESPNPlus.com?

      If you upgrade by calling Chase Card Services at 1-800-300-8575, you will start enjoying your Disney® Premier Visa® Cardmember benefits within 3-5 days, even while using your Disney® Visa® Card.0 If you upgrade online, it may take up to 10 days for your upgrade request to be approved and for your purchases in qualifying categories to earn Disney Rewards Dollars at the higher rate. You can check with Chase Card Services for additional information.

    • If I have “Day 1” on my Disney® Visa® Card, will it carry over to my new Disney® Premier Visa® Card?

      Yes. Your “Day 1” status will carry over to your new Disney Premier Visa Card.

    • If I am a Disney Vacation Club® member, and have “DVC Member” on my Disney® Visa® Card, will “DVC Member” also appear on my new Disney® Premier Visa® Card?

      Yes, “DVC Member” can appear on your new Disney Premier Visa Card.

    • If I cancel my Disney® Premier Visa® Card before the year is up, is the annual fee prorated?
