When you upgrade from a Disney® Visa® Card to a Disney Inspire Visa Card or a Disney Premier Visa Card, the Disney Rewards Dollars in your account will automatically move to your new Disney Inspire Visa Card or Disney Premier Visa Card account. In addition, any valid Disney Rewards Redemption Cards you have will also move to the new account.12

When you upgrade from a Disney® Visa® Card account to a Disney Inspire Visa Card or a Disney Premier Visa Card account, your account number will remain the same. If your Disney Visa Card account was set up for automatic bill pay, you will want to note the new expiration date and security code of your Disney Inspire Visa Card or Disney Premier Visa Card and make those revisions accordingly.

Yes. The expiration date and security code will change when you upgrade to the Disney® Inspire Visa® Card or the Disney® Premier Visa® Card.

If you upgrade by calling Chase Card Services at 1-800-300-8575, you will start enjoying your Disney® Inspire Visa® Cardmember benefits or your Disney® Premier Visa® Cardmember benefits within 3-5 days, even while using your Disney® Visa® Card.34 If you upgrade online, it may take up to 10 days for your upgrade request to be approved and for your purchases in qualifying categories to earn Disney Rewards Dollars at the higher rate. You can check with Chase Card Services for additional information.

Yes. Your “Day 1” status will carry over to your new Disney Inspire Visa Card or Disney Premier Visa Card.

Yes, “DVC Member” can appear on your new Disney Inspire Visa Card or Disney Premier Visa Card.

The terms and conditions that apply to Disney Rewards Dollars are available at DisneyRewards.com/Terms and will be provided to you with your Disney Visa Card once you become a cardmember.

 

Subject to credit approval. You will earn one percent (1%) in Disney Rewards Dollars for every dollar in Qualifying Purchases. ("Qualifying Purchases" means the amount of your retail purchases of goods and services minus returns or refunds that qualify for Disney Rewards Dollars in a billing cycle and do not include balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your Card Account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.)

The terms and conditions that apply to Disney Rewards Dollars are available at DisneyRewards.com/Terms and will be provided to you with your Disney Inspire Visa Card once you become a cardmember.

 

You will earn 10% total in Disney Rewards Dollars for each $1 spent on Qualifying Purchases (as defined below) made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or plus.espn.com for (a) a Disney+, Hulu or ESPN+ monthly or annual subscription, or (b) the bundle subscription, or (c) additional Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+ purchases, including Premier Access on Disney+, add-ons on Hulu, and pay-per-view events on ESPN+. For clarity, you will receive an additional 9% in Disney Rewards Dollars on top of the standard 1% for a total of 10% on these subscription purchases and additional Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ purchases. Your purchase of any of these subscriptions or additional Disney+, Hulu or ESPN+ purchases will not earn an additional 9% in Disney Rewards Dollars if your purchase is made through a third-party device or digital platform (unless such device or platform redirects to DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or plus.espn.com for purchase) or as a bundle with cable services or as another bundle. Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ gift card and subscription card purchases that are purchased directly from DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or plus.espn.com will earn an additional 9% in Disney Rewards Dollars, but such gift card and subscription card purchases that are purchased from a point of sale location other than DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or plus.espn.com will not earn an additional 9% in Disney Rewards Dollars. You will earn 3% total in Disney Rewards Dollars for each $1 spent on Qualifying Purchases made at (i) Disney Locations in the U.S. or (ii) a merchant in the following rewards category: gas stations. For clarity, you will receive an additional 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars on top of the standard 1% for a total of 3% on these Qualifying Purchases. You will earn 2% total in Disney Rewards Dollars for each $1 spent on Qualifying Purchases made at a merchant in the following rewards categories: grocery stores and dining at restaurants, including takeout and eligible delivery services (this excludes dining purchases made at Disney Locations in the U.S. that qualify for 3% total in Disney Rewards Dollars). For clarity, you will receive an additional 1% in Disney Rewards Dollars on top of the standard 1% for a total of 2% on these Qualifying Purchases.
