The highly anticipated new attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, is set to open October 1 at EPCOT®—and it’s also the kick-off for The World’s Most Magical Celebration in honor of Walt Disney World® Resort 50th anniversary. 1. You’ll “shrink” to Remy’s size
This adventure is all about putting riders in the middle of the action. Props are designed to be larger-than-life, so you’ll feel like you’re viewing the world from Remy’s perspective. Get ready to see ordinary objects like vegetables, dishes and cutlery in a whole new way.
2. It’s a high-energy adventure through Gusteau’s Restaurant
Fans of Ratatouille are familiar with the tantalizing sights and sounds of Gusteau’s famous restaurant, and this immersive attraction will bring it to life. You’ll zip, dash and scurry through the entire area, catching glimpses of the kitchen, dining room and more, while dodging flying food.
3. You’ll be immersed in a 4D experience
This romp through Remy’s culinary domain is designed to captivate the senses in 4D—by adding 3D film animation with special effects and motion for a thrilling adventure. You’ll see, hear, feel, smell and experience the space as if you were truly there.
4. It’s the first time you can experience this attraction in the US
This attraction brings the spirit of Paris—the setting of Ratatouille—to Orlando. In fact, the France pavilion housing Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is constructed to look like a scene straight out of the movie, so you’ll get a feel for why the rambunctious rodent fell in love with the City of Lights. It’s also inspired by an attraction in Disneyland Paris, and now you don’t have to travel to France to experience it!
5. The attraction is part of the France Pavilion expansion
Speaking of the France pavilion, this French-themed area is also home to an all-new restaurant premiering on the same day as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. La Creperie de Paris is a table and quick service location featuring a menu from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, inspired by the Brittany region in France, with both savory crêpes (called “galettes”) and sweet crêpes.
