Frequently Asked Questions About Meeting Disney Princesses
Are reservations or Lightning Lane needed to meet princesses?
The short answer is no, you don’t need reservations or Lightning Lane to meet Disney Princesses at either Walt Disney World® Resort or the Disneyland® Resort. However, Guests who want to meet Disney Princesses via Character Dining experiences will need to make advance reservations to secure their time. While Lightning Lane can help Guests who want to skip the standby line at some attractions, it is not applicable to Character experiences.
Are there special events or parades featuring Disney Princesses?
Absolutely! While not a conclusive list or a guarantee of any appearances, Guests can see some favorite Disney Princesses at the following parades and events at Walt Disney World® Resort:
- Guests can sometimes spot Merida in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, a parade that makes its way down Main Street, U.S.A.®
- Rapunzel can be seen at times in the Festival of Fantasy Parade as well as Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.
- Keep an eye out for Raya in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
As for the Disneyland® Resort, Guests should not miss Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession at Disney California Adventure® Park for a chance to see and wave hello to the fearless warrior princess, Mulan! Are there age restrictions or special experiences for children?
Character experiences and greeting opportunities are open to Guests of all ages at the Disney parks. Even toddlers and infants are welcome, though adult supervision is required for younger Guests.
