Sign up for an archery lesson
Aiming for adventure? Follow in Princess Merida’s Brave footsteps and sharpen your own archery skills! At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Guests ages seven and up can learn how to load and fire a compound bow in the 75-minute Fort Wilderness Archery Experience. Reservations are highly recommended, so book in advance and remember you can redeem your Disney Rewards Dollars toward the cost of the lesson.1
Check out jogging and running trails
With an expansive selection of jogging and running paths for Guests of Disney Resort hotels throughout Walt Disney World® Resort, why not take advantage and discover something new on foot? You can enjoy scenery such as lakefront views, wetlands, woodlands and more. Ask the Lobby Concierge at your Disney Resort hotel for a map of the trails, which range from under a mile (like the Lago Dorado pathway at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort) to more challenging loops (like the 3.1-mile backwoods trail around The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground). And if you want to add even more enchantment to every mile, try signing up for a runDisney event, where you can earn unique, themed medals and even run in a Disney costume!
Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle away
Grab your oars and go explore! Renting canoes or kayaks at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation on the surrounding waterways. Paddling through streams, ponds and inlets is a great way to spend the day with family or friends. Reservations aren’t required, and rentals are first-come, first-serve for Guests of Disney Resort hotels with a valid Resort ID. Or try your hand at FootGolf, a nine-hole combination of soccer and golf that’s sure to kick your day into high gear!
Dive into a pool at a Disney Resort hotel

Book a room at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for the relaxing whirlpool spas at Stormalong Bay, or reserve your stay at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort to plunge into the sporty Grand Slam Pool (shaped like a baseball diamond) or Surfboard Bay Pool. You can make a splash with waterslides or soak up serene vibes in heated pools with stunning views, among many options. If you want to take your game further, schedule group or private lessons with tennis pros and learn to play like the experts.
Bump, set and spike at a volleyball court
Rally your crew and have some fun batting around the ball on a Disney volleyball court! You’ll find white sand courts at eight different Resort hotels. Any hotel Guest can use the courts; just bring a valid Resort ID along to check out equipment.
Take a ride on a rented bicycle
