Knowing when you can experience some of your favorite Disney activities is key to getting the most out of a visit to the Disneyland® Resort, so read on for essential info about attraction, entertainment and store hours, plus Disneyland After Dark events and Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party.

Attraction Hours

Attractions at Disneyland® Park are generally open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Attractions at Disney California Adventure® Park usually open at 8:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM, unless there are extended hours. Hours are subject to change, such as for off-peak days or special occasions. To get additional information and stay up-to-date on any changes that might occur, be sure to check the resort’s daily calendar. For info on-the-go, the official Disneyland app will help you plan your day and ensure you’re the first to know about any schedule changes.

Entertainment Hours

One thing’s for sure at the Disneyland® Resort: you won’t lack for entertainment! At Disneyland® Park you can watch the Mickey and Friends Cavalcade parade in the afternoon (check the daily calendar for the most up-to-date times) and head on over in the evening to see World of Color Happiness! A dazzling nighttime spectacular in honor of the Disneyland® Resort 70th Celebration, this show celebrates joy through beloved Disney and Pixar stories, stunning fountains and vibrant music. Be sure and make some time to see this show at night and enjoy other fun-filled performances that take place across the parks throughout the day!

Store Hours

Shopaholics rejoice! Nearly all stores at the Disneyland® Resort keep the same hours as the parks, meaning that at most places at Disneyland® Park, you can shop from morning to park close – or until you drop, whichever comes first. After Dark

The fun doesn’t stop once the sun goes down, thanks to Disneyland After Dark. Tickets for these special themed events include after-hours access to Disneyland® Park, Character sightings, thrilling entertainment and event-themed food and drinks. Mark your calendar for the upcoming Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, on select dates between April 8 and May 6, 2025, and Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite, on June 16 and 18, 2025.

Transportation

Getting around the Disneyland® Resort to visit Disneyland® Park and other areas is a snap! The parks are close enough that many Guests find it easiest just to walk, but you can also hop aboard any of three convenient transportation options. Complimentary buses provide rides to and from Disneyland® Park, Disney California Adventure® Park and the Toy Story Parking Area. Complimentary trams shuttle between the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and both parks. Guests with a valid admission to Disneyland® Park can also soar through the sky on the Disneyland® Monorail, which runs from the Downtown Disney® District Monorail Station to the Tomorrowland area of Disneyland® Park.

If you’ve traveled to the resort using your own vehicle, you can park in any of three locations: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Toy Story Parking Area. The handy car locator feature on the Disneyland app will even save your parking details, meaning you never have to worry about forgetting where you parked!

Early Theme Park Entry

Want to get a head start on the fun? Guests of a Disneyland® Resort hotel who have a valid theme park admission and a park reservation can enter one of the parks 30 minutes early each day: Disneyland® Park on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and Disney California Adventure® Park on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Lightning Lane Entrances

To expedite entry through attraction queues, take advantage of the Lightning Lane service, which will let you enter a shorter line at select attractions. Purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for use at favorites like Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, in a total of more than a dozen attractions across the park. Or grab a Lightning Lane Single Pass to use at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! To make sure you get the full experience, get the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This pass allows one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in both of the Disneyland® Resort theme parks to enjoy at your leisure that day.

Mobile Ordering

Put a new spin on fast food with mobile ordering. Use the Disneyland® app to order food in advance and schedule your pick-up time at select Disneyland® Park restaurants. This convenient service is also available in Disney California Adventure® Park and at select Disney Resort hotels. As soon as your order’s ready, you’ll get a notification that it’s time to chow down. If you’re a Cardmember, you can even use your Disney Rewards Redemption Card in the app to apply Disney Rewards Dollars toward your meals.0 Mobile checkout via mobile ordering is made even more convenient when you store your Disney Visa Card to the Disneyland app, as your discounts can be automatically applied. Disneyland® theme park tickets give you the flexibility to plan your perfect vacation. Standard Theme Park Tickets can be purchased for anywhere from one to five days and provide access to one park per day. If you want to visit both Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park on the same day, it’s as easy as adding on the Park Hopper pass. Guests planning to visit the Disneyland® Resort several times per year should check out the Magic Key pass, which unlocks more magic like a special dining location, seasonal offerings and early access to a limited number of pre-sale tickets for select events.
