Moana’s journey began when she answered the call of the ocean. Now, Guests at Walt Disney World® Resort can embark on their own adventure and answer the call of water. You can choose your path to explore the wonders of water along a lush trail at Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Located at EPCOT® in Walt Disney World® Resort, this interactive walking trail is inspired by the Disney animated film Moana.  Let’s take an enticing peek at what Guests can anticipate experiencing as they explore the Journey of Water!

Wade in and Start Your Journey

This remarkable trail opened on the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Since then, there has been plenty of fun in store for Guests who visit and venture along the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. You’ll soon discover why this trail is a must-see, as you marvel at jumping fountains, musical streams and hidden characters among the rocks.

If you want to meet the adventurous wayfinder herself, keep an eye out for Moana as you visit World Nature at EPCOT®. She often greets guests near the entrance to Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Always on the go, we hope you’ll be able to enjoy a special visit with Moana before she ventures on to another voyage. Guests can truly create their own experience when they visit Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana because they get to choose a wet or dry path. If you’re ready for a splashier path with some refreshing water interactions, you have that option. Kids especially will love the hands-on fun with water in this trail. Not wanting to get wet? No worries! Guests that want to stay dry can enjoy the alternate path.

Dive Into the Must-Know Details

You might be wondering if there are any “What You Need to Know Before You Go” details, and there’s no need to wonder a moment longer, as we’ve got you covered!

While this whimsical and watery trail is open year-round, please keep in mind that some aspects of this experience may close during inclement weather. Otherwise, the trail is available from park open to close with early and late access available for select Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening hours opportunities. Guests should also know that wheelchair access is available for this trail using the dry path only. And while service animals are permitted with discretion in some areas of the trail, they must remain on the dry path at all times.

We encourage you to kick back and stay awhile as you visit World Nature! There are some nearby attractions, entertainment and dining to sample as you make time to see Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Some even have special Disney Visa Cardmember perks.
