The galaxy’s only hope is for you to climb aboard a Starjumper at EPCOT®’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and join Star-Lord and the Guardians to save the day!

How to experience: There are two ways to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Guests can enter a virtual queue on the day of their park visit or purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass through the My Disney Experience app. A standby queue will not be available.
The first Disney Omnicoaster
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of the Walt Disney World® Resort’s most groundbreaking attractions. The cutting-edge thrills begin immediately, as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind blasts off with Disney’s first-ever reverse-launch, shooting you backwards into this time-bending adventure. Thanks to innovations from Walt Disney Imagineering, it’s also Disney’s first Omnicoaster. As you race to stop time and space from rewinding, your Starjumper rotates 360 degrees, placing you in the middle of all the action going on around you. On top of all that, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is also one of the largest fully enclosed rollercoasters in the world, operating inside its own building next to Spaceship Earth.

No Guardians of the Galaxy attraction is complete without a killer soundtrack, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not disappoint. Disney Imagineers know you can’t properly save the galaxy without the right tunes, so they tested out more than 100 songs when they developed this family-thrill coaster to come up with the most awesome mix in the history of mixtapes. As you zoom through time and space, you’ll groove to one of six classic tracks: “September,” “Disco Inferno,” “Conga,” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “I Ran” or “One Way or Another.” Saving the day never sounded so good!
What you’ll experience on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Things seem normal … maybe too normal … as you enter Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and make your way to the Galaxarium, an immersive exhibition that introduces you to the similarities and differences between our galaxy and Xandar’s galaxy. At the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion, you’ll get an exclusive glimpse of the planet’s many marvels and can learn about Xandarians’ advanced technology. It’s a pleasant way to discover an exotic planet, but just when you’re getting ready to leave, disaster strikes! Time and space start rewinding, and you get the call from Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot and Rocket to help them save the galaxy. Hop into a Starjumper, turn up the stereo and blast off on a chase through the cosmos. Your mission is to stop Eson, the Celestial, from enacting his seriously uncool plan for galactic domination and getting time and space to move in the right direction again — a tough task, but all in a day’s work for the Guardians!
How to join the virtual queue
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind uses a virtual queue instead of a standby queue, meaning you’re free to enjoy other parts of the park until it’s your turn to enter the attraction. To join the virtual queue, you’ll need to use the My Disney Experience app and have a valid admission to EPCOT®, Guests may also need a theme park reservation based on the type of admission and the date of their visit. Each Guest can request to join the virtual queue once per day during regular park hours. There are two opportunities to make your request: 7:00 AM (Guests do not need to be in EPCOT® to join the virtual queue at this time) and 1:00 PM (Guests must be in EPCOT® to join the virtual queue at this time). If you’re staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels you’re eligible for extended evening theme park hours on select dates and can also request to join the queue at 6:00 PM on those nights. If extra hours and access to Disney magic sound like a pretty great benefit, remember that Cardholders can take advantage of special vacation financing to book packages that include stays at qualifying hotels.2

If you want to fast-forward your visit to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, check out Lightning Lane entry, which lets you join a shorter line for select attractions and experiences. You can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for entry to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. To purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass, open the My Disney Experience app, then select the Lightning Lane Passes section on the home screen. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase, and don’t forget that you can redeem Disney Rewards Dollars to help you do so!1 Guests of a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass 7 days ahead of the first day of their Resort stay, while all other Guests can make their purchases 3 days in advance of their park visit.

- Space 220 Restaurant: Get a taste of space at this restaurant in the Mission: SPACE Pavilion, where prix-fixe multicourse meals highlight American cuisine that’s been given a galactic twist.
