Pet-Friendly Hotels at Walt Disney World® Resort

No need to leave Pluto, Dug or Lady at home for your next vacation – tell your pup to chin up, because there are some pet-friendly hotel options when visiting Walt Disney World® Resort! Let’s dive into the four different Disney Resort Hotels you can reserve and bring your dog along. We’ll give you all the need-to-know details, too, like how to book doggie daycare and where to find the best walking trails to get those tails wagging and paws moving. Planning your next Walt Disney World® Resort vacation and including your four-legged family member may be easier than you think. Let’s cover some essentials first, such as doggie daycare, amenities and general requirements you’ll need to know before you pack a doggie bag!

Best Friends Pet Care

Did you know that Walt Disney World® Resort offers a kennel service for dogs? You can board your dog (and even cats and other pets) at the Best Friends Pet Hotel located inside the park. Best Friends Pet Care offers daytime and overnight boarding and air-conditioned spaces for dogs so they can get plenty of companionship and potty breaks while their families enjoy the park. This is a great way for owners to make sure their dog is comfortable and cared for during extended hours they may be away from their room. They also offer extras like a pet spa for all your dog’s grooming needs and even offer transport from the Disney Resort Hotels for an additional $25 fee (when added to an existing reservation).

Requirements

All dogs staying at the Disney Resort Hotels and/or Best Friends Pet Care will need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations. No more than two dogs will be permitted to stay in a single room, and dogs cannot be left unattended longer than 7 hours at a time. So, make sure to make a Best Friends Pet Care daytime reservation ahead of time if you’re planning a long day at the park. Dogs must be crated when accompanying their owners on internal buses at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort and at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Only designated service animals may accompany their owners on Disney Transportation motorcoaches, monorails, watercraft and Disney Skyliner.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Step into an animated world with your dog in tow at this resort that brings beloved Disney and Pixar films to life with themed sections inspired by The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Cars and more. This resort also offers ample walking trails where you can take your dog on a stroll, as well as multiple pet relief areas.

And whether you plan to reserve The Little Mermaid Standard Room or any of the Family Suites, you can secure a dog-friendly room for either with a $50 pet fee per night, per room.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

This resort’s quiet atmosphere and pet-friendly rooms make it an ideal retreat for you and your best pal! Enjoy a peaceful stay with southern charm in the Alligator Bayou with rustic cottages. Or relax in Magnolia Bend with stately accommodations. Pets will incur a $50 pet fee per night, per room.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Dive into your stay at this nautical, Martha’s Vineyard-themed hotel! For those looking for a more upscale experience, this deluxe resort offers elegant accommodations and easy access to walking paths around Crescent Lake. Pets will incur a fee of $75 per night, per room.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort

And what makes it ideal for your family: Pet-friendly cabins are available for an additional $50 fee per night.
