Which Card Do You Carry?: Disney Visa Card or Disney Premier Visa Card

There are two types of cards Cardmembers can have in their wallets: the Disney Visa Card or the Disney Premier Visa Card. Though they both make it possible to earn and redeem Disney Rewards Dollars, the Disney Premier Visa Card allows you to earn faster and provides another way to redeem.

  • Disney Visa Cardmembers earn 1% in Disney Rewards Dollars on all card purchases.45
  • Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers earn 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars on card purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and most Disney locations, as well as 1% on all other card purchases.46
  • All Cardmembers can redeem Rewards Dollars toward most Disney products and offerings. Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers can also redeem Disney Rewards Dollars for a statement credit toward airline travel.7

    The Cardmember Photo Opportunities are offered daily during set hours–the Disney Cardmember Photo Opportunity is at EPCOT® and the Star Wars Cardmember Photo Opportunity is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.   7. Airline Statement Credit with the Disney Premier Visa Card

    Disney Rewards Dollars may be redeemed for a statement credit towards airline ticket purchases made with your Disney Premier Visa Credit Card within 60 days before the redemption request date, where permitted by law. Disney Rewards Dollars cannot be redeemed for an airline statement credit using a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. Redemptions start at 50 Disney Rewards Dollars for a $50 airline statement credit toward tickets on any airline to any destination. Each additional Disney Rewards Dollar is redeemable for a $1 statement credit. Subsequent purchases after redemption must meet the $50 minimum to qualify for a subsequent airline statement credit redemption. Airline statement credits will post to the card account within 5-7 business days of a request to redeem and will appear on the monthly Chase credit card billing statement within 1-2 billing cycles. Until the credit posts, we recommend you pay the full amount of the airline ticket charge on your credit card bill to avoid finance charges. Disney and Chase reserve the right to determine which Disney Premier Visa Card purchases qualify for an airline statement credit.
