2023 EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival Guide for Cardmembers

The 2023 EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE® is here, making it the perfect time for foodies to visit Walt Disney World® Resort. This annual celebration of global cuisines offers you the chance to taste your way around the world, take part in fun family activities and experience amazing cultures. Below, we’ll serve up everything you need to make the most of your getaway—including tempting new experiences, returning favorites and some sweet ways to use your Disney® Visa® Credit Card benefits during the festival, running until November 18.

What to expect

The EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival is one of Walt Disney World® Resort’s most anticipated annual events, and for good reason. It brings together delicious cuisine and libations from across the globe, experiences for all ages, star-studded concerts and lots more. Here’s just some of what’s cooking at the festival.

Global Marketplaces

Get ready for an epic journey of Global Marketplaces, located throughout World Showcase. Explore world cultures via mouthwatering delicacies from six continents, which you can pair with a wide range of fine wines, craft beers and other beverages. The festival will open with 25 marketplaces—including fan favorites Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey, Flavors from Fire and The Fry Basket—before expanding to 27 marketplaces on August 15 and 31 marketplaces on September 22. And remember, you can redeem Disney Rewards Dollars toward sampling Global Marketplaces dishes!¹

Festival Passport

With so much to eat and drink at the EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival, you’ll need something to help you keep track of what you’ve already tried… and what to eat next! Be sure to pick up a complimentary festival passport, which will provide you with a full list of all the dishes on offer and tell you where to get them. Prefer to use your phone to stay organized? Emile’s Fromage Montage

Cheese, please! Lovers of this ooey, gooey ingredient shouldn’t miss Emile’s Fromage Montage, which spotlights cheesy delights from around the world. Your festival passport will guide you through the Global Marketplaces to vendors selling all kinds of delicacies, like Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey at the Greece pavilion, Crispy Curried-cheese with Mango-Curry Ketchup at the India pavilion, Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts at the Hawaii pavilion, and more.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak

Kids will love Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, a très magnifique scavenger hunt to find Paris’ most petit star chef. To start your search, just purchase a map and stickers from select Festival merchandise locations, including Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Port of Entry, World Traveler at International Gateway and Festival Center. (Keep in mind, you can redeem your Disney Rewards Dollars toward the map!)¹ Then, roam World Showcase and the Global Marketplaces to find hidden Remy statuettes and match ingredient stickers to your map. Later, you can bring your map to Creations Shop, Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway to get a special festival keepsake.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

There’s even more scavenger hunting fun to be had with Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, which runs from September 29 to October 31 (while supplies last). Buy or redeem Disney Rewards Dollars toward the purchase of a game board and stickers at select merchandise locations, including Creations Shop, Port of Entry, Disney Traders and World Traveler at International Gateway, and then set off in search of Disney Character-themed decorative pumpkins.¹ Whether you hunt down all the pumpkins or not, you can return your game board to Creations, Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway to get a spooky souvenir.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare

Food and music are the perfect pairing. Cap your day at the festival with an incredible show at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, held until November 13 at the American Adventure Pavilion’s America Gardens Theatre. Major acts like Boyz II Men and Hanson will take the stage Fridays to Sundays, while talented local bands appear Tuesday to Thursday.

Eat to the Beat Dining Package

Catch dinner and a show by purchasing an Eat to the Beat Dining Package. You’ll start your evening with a delectable meal—either an appetizer, entrée and dessert or a full buffet/family-style meal, plus a non-alcoholic beverage—at a participating EPCOT® restaurant: Akershus, Garden Grill, Coral Reef, Biergarten, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Spice Road Table or Regal Eagle. After dinner, you’ll have a guaranteed seat at one of that night’s Eat to the Beat concerts, where you can dance and sing to your heart’s content.

Special Souvenirs

Keep the good times rolling long after the EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival has ended by picking up some official event merchandise to commemorate the celebrations. This year, you’ll find four fun collections of official event merchandise: the Event Logo Collection, the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Picnic Collection, the Disney Encanto Collection and the Figment Annual Passholder Collection. What’s new this year

This year, there are a number of enticing new experiences on offer both at the festival and throughout EPCOT®, meaning that the 2023 edition promises to be exciting and surprising for even the most seasoned festival veterans.

New EPCOT® experiences

EPCOT continues its amazing transformation with new and incredible experiences. Join Star-Lord, Rocket and the rest of the gang on an intergalactic race through time and space to save the galaxy (again) on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The 360-degree rotating coaster features Disney’s first ever reverse launch. Later this year, you’ll also be able to experience Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, an immersive outdoor trail where you can play and interact with the life-giving element as it cycles from the sky to the ocean and back again.

Limited-time Disney100 Marketplaces

Disney is celebrating its 100^th anniversary with all sorts of special events and activities throughout the parks in 2023. To tie in to the EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival, four new Marketplaces will launch on September 22, serving up special dishes that have been inspired by the Disney100 anniversary celebration. Keep an eye out for these limited-time delights!

More plant-based options than ever

There’s never been a better time for vegetarians, vegans and herbivores of all kinds to attend the EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival. This year, chefs in the Global Marketplaces are cooking up more plant-based options than ever, giving diners plenty of meat-free options.
